Minimising Bristows' carbon footprint and pursuing other ways in which Bristows can contribute positively to its environment

Providing information and assistance to the Firm as a whole in order to limit adverse environmental impact in the workplace, and encouraging all members of the Firm to take action

Steps taken by Bristows include:

  • Donating replaced office equipment to 'Green-works', a not-for-profit organisation which recycles and reuses used office furniture
  • Recycling paper, cardboard, glass, plastic, tins and toner cartridges in the workplace
  • Using recycled paper for all printing and double-sided printing as default
  • Installation of a Vivreau™ bottling water system which uses purified mains water to produce still and sparkling bottled water
  • Implementing the Government's 'Cycle to Work' scheme, providing financial assistance to Bristows' employees to cycle to work
  • Use of Fair Trade coffee
