Helen trained at Bristows joining the Commercial IP/IT Department on qualification. She specialises in non-contentious intellectual property and information technology matters.
Helen’s experience in dealing with intellectual property matters includes drafting and advising on: intellectual property licence agreements; research and development agreements; and settlements of litigation. Matters that Helen has recently advised on include research services agreements in the pharmaceuticals sector and a licence agreement for the exploitation of technology arising out of a collaborative research project between a pharmaceutical company and a university.
In the information technology sector, Helen’s recent experience includes advising a provider of customer relationship management services on an agreement with a major retailer for data analysis services and advising the owner of an online database on agreements granting licences of content from the database. Helen has a particular interest in information law and has advised clients in relation to data protection and freedom of information issues.
