Shauna trained with the firm and qualified into the Intellectual Property and Patent Litigation practice in September 2009. She advises across all sectors, with a particular emphasis on pharmaceuticals, and her background in Pharmacology assists in providing a good understanding of the technical aspects of such work.
 
Shauna is involved in global pharmaceutical product lifecycle management projects, in which she manages IP litigation in a range of jurisdictions. She regularly works alongside lawyers and patent attorneys in other jurisdictions.
 
During her training contract Shauna gained experience in a number of areas including both contentious and non-contentious intellectual property. In addition, Shauna spent four months on secondment to the in-house legal department of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, and three months on secondment to the in-house IP legal department of Akzo Nobel N.V.
