Since joining Bristows 15 years ago, Laura has specialised in non-contentious IP matters. She has considerable experience of commercial arrangements relating to the development and exploitation of all kinds of intellectual property rights. Laura has expertise in relation to the competition law aspects of commercial IP transactions and has spent time working in Brussels, both at the EU Council of Ministers and in private practice.

Laura acts for clients across a range of sectors including life sciences, consumer products and TMT. She focuses on transactions which have IP rights at their core, as well as advising on the intellectual property aspects of corporate and funding transactions.  Additionally, Laura has expertise in relation to advertising and marketing matters.
Laura is an established speaker at conferences, particularly in relation to licensing and collaborations. She has acted as an expert in US patent infringement proceedings advising on English law licensing issues.
