Miranda is a tax specialist. She advises clients from start-ups to multi-national corporations, pension funds to charitable institutions on the whole gamut of tax issues that they face in carrying out their businesses.  She joined Bristows in 1995, after spending five years in the corporate tax department of a large city law firm.

Miranda has many years of experience in advising on M&A deals and other forms of corporate/commercial transaction such as joint ventures, financings, reorganisations and IP licensing arrangements.  In recent years, the structuring of real estate investment funds and property joint ventures/financings has formed a significant part of her practice.

Miranda co-heads the firm's Charities and Institutions Sector Group and advises on the full range of tax issues affecting clients in this sector, with a particular focus on structuring their internal operations.  She also regularly advises on employee tax issues, share incentives and the tax issues arising out of litigation settlements.

Miranda is a member of the Charity Law Association.
