Dominic trained with the firm and qualified in September 2004. He specialises in contentious intellectual property matters, primarily in relation to patents but also trade marks, registered designs and copyright.
 
Dominics science background gives him an excellent grounding in the technical aspects of patent litigation. He has experience before the Patent Office, High Court and Court of Appeal as well as experience of Opposition proceedings before the EPO. This experience is in diverse technology ranging from pharmaceuticals to consumer goods.
 
Dominics trade mark, registered design and copyright experience has included inkjet printer cartridges and computer source code for gaming software. He also has experience of other technology-related disputes such as product liability claims in the industrial sector before the Technology and Construction Court and the International Court of Arbitration. Dominic spent six months seconded to the European legal department of a large multinational corporation where he assisted on a wide range of matters.
