Robert specialises in intellectual property law.
 
He has considerable experience of advising on patent litigation matters before the UK courts. A number of these cases have required the coordination of parallel proceedings in different jurisdictions and applications for interim relief. His experience spans a wide variety of technologies ranging from pharmaceuticals and the life sciences to computing and electronics.
 
Robert also advises on UK and Community design rights, trade marks and passing off, copyright and plant variety rights. In addition to his litigation experience, Robert regularly assists clients with due diligence on the intellectual property aspects of commercial transactions.
 
Robert has a background in science and has worked in both academic and commercial scientific environments. This experience has proved particularly valuable when advising clients in the life sciences sector.  Robert has spent time on secondment to a major company within the FMCG sector.
