Osman specialises in EU and UK competition law, advising clients on both contentious and non-contentious issues.

Osman trained with a  leading City firm, qualifying into its Antitrust, Competition and Trade group in Brussels. He subsequently worked in the Antitrust and Competition team in the London office of an US firm. He joined Bristows in 2010.

His practice focuses on a wide range of competition law issues, with particular emphasis on matters relating to Articles 101 and 102 Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (formerly Articles 81 and 82 EC Treaty), EU merger control and UK market investigations. He also regularly advises on the competition issues which arise from distribution arrangements.

Osman has experience in a range of sectors, including recorded music, music publishing, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, manufacturing and financial services.
