Gillian trained with the firm and qualified into the Intellectual Property Litigation department in September 2007. She has worked on a number of contentious intellectual property matters and has assisted in patent and trade mark infringement proceedings before the High Court, including the cases of Pozzoli v BDMO and L'Oreal v eBay.  She has been involved in a global pharmaceutical product lifecycle management project, involving the co-ordination of IP litigation in a number of jurisdictions. In addition, Gillian has experience of registering intellectual property rights with HM Revenue & Customs (and dealing with the subsequent detention of goods under that regime) and has also spent time on secondment to the in-house legal department of a leading pharmaceutical company.
