Geoffrey joined Bristows as a partner in 2008. Geoffrey specialises in complex cross-border litigation, arbitration, international fraud and city business disputes, particularly in banking and international trade. He has substantial experience of arbitrations under the rules of the ICC, LCIA and LME.

Geoffrey has extensive experience in constructive trust litigation, civil fraud and international asset tracing. He has been involved in the representation of Chrysler Canada Inc and CIBC Mellon against Stolzenberg and Others, which relates to the collapse of Castor Holdings - the Canadian real property and investment company - in 1992 with billions of dollars of debt.

Geoffrey has represented Empire Online Ltd in its much publicised multi-jurisdictional dispute with PartyGaming PLC, concerning the refusal to provide Empire Online Ltd access through downloadable software to the PartyGaming online systems, to allow their players to play multi-poker online at shared tables.

A fluent French and Italian speaker, Geoffrey is ranked in Chambers as a leading practitioner in complex litigation. He is much published and is a consultant editor of the Journal of International Banking and Finance Law.
